Amanda Osei is a Toronto-based actor whose intelligence and precision have made her one of the most compelling stage presences of her generation. A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, she has worked at Tarragon, Factory Theatre, and Nightwood, building a body of work centred on women navigating systems designed to resist them. Her performance as Billie in a Soulpepper revival of Counterpart earned her a Ember nomination, and her subsequent work in new Canadian plays has consistently confirmed her gift for characters whose moral clarity never hardens into rigidity. Playing Gail marks her third production with director Priya Sharma.
