Conrad Mills is a lighting designer with thirty productions across Canada and the United Kingdom to his name, and a reputation for work that reads as almost invisible until you notice how precisely it is managing your attention. He trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama before returning to Canada and establishing himself as a designer whose solutions tend to be structural rather than decorative. He has designed for the Stratford and Shaw festivals, Canadian Stage, and the National Arts Centre, and received the Ember Award for Outstanding Lighting Design in 2020 for his work on a Factory Theatre production of Lena Wychwood's The Quiet Room.
