Isabelle Marchand

Isabelle Marchand

Isabelle Marchand is a Montreal-based actor of French-Canadian and Haitian heritage whose stage presence is defined by a quality of self-possession that reads as deeply attractive and faintly formidable in equal measure. She studied at the Université du Québec à Montréal and the Actors Studio Drama School in New York before returning to Canada and dividing her career between English and French-language productions. She has worked at the Centaur, the Théâtre du Rideau Vert, and the Shaw Festival, and her Anna Odintsova is a woman who has learned to use her independence as both armour and invitation.
