Patricia Beaumont is a veteran of the Canadian stage whose career spans more than three decades across regional theatres from Halifax to Vancouver. A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, she first gained wide recognition for her work with Factory Theatre in the late 1990s, where her portrayal of difficult, uncompromising women became something of a signature. She has worked extensively with the texts of George F. Walker, appearing in productions of Better Living and Tough! before taking on the formidable role of Nora in this production. Her television credits include recurring roles on the CBC drama Kingsley & Cross and the period crime series The Dunbar Files. Off stage she teaches master classes in classical text at the Toronto District School of Drama.
