Rosa Delacroix was born in Moncton to an Acadian family and trained at the Université de Moncton before moving to Toronto to complete a diploma at Humber College. Her career has been marked by an ability to make space for herself in scenes dominated by larger, louder characters — a quality that serves her well as Fenichka, who lives at the margins of a story being told by and about others and yet manages to be its moral anchor. She has appeared at Theatre New Brunswick, the National Arts Centre, and Nightwood Theatre, where her work in a revival of Dana Hogue's Desdemona Rising earned her a Ember nomination.
